The Additional Applicants panel provides an overview of information specific to each additional applicant on a Virtual Capture application, and allows applicants to add, edit, and delete information for one or more additional applicants during the application process.

The Virtual Capture Screen Designer also includes an Additional Applicant panel that can be used to capture information for an additional applicant; however, this panel only allows one additional applicant to be added, or removed, from the application. The Additional Applicants panel must be used to add and manage multiple additional applicants in Virtual Capture.

Panel Configuration

To add and manage multiple additional applicants in a Virtual Capture application, the following configurations must be made in System Management > Origination > Virtual Capture > Virtual Capture Screens:

• Configure an Applicant type screen to capture demographic information for each additional applicant. This screen appears when an additional applicant is added or edited from the Additional Applicants panel in Virtual Capture.

  Multiple Additional Applicant panels can be added to the same screen, but the Panel Progress Order must remain as "1" since the panel progress feature is not supported in Edit screens.

• Configure an Application type screen to include the Additional Applicants panel. Assign the Applicant screen created to capture data for each additional applicant as the edit screen for the Additional Applicants panel.

  In order for the Applicant screen to populate as an option to assign as the Edit screen for the Additional Applicants panel, the Applicant screen must be configured prior to adding the Additional Applicants panel to an Application screen.

Edit Screen Configuration

To configure the edit screen for the Additional Applicants panel:

• Click  within the Virtual Capture Screens page, and select the Applicant screen type.
• Complete the General attributes for the screen.
• Once all General attributes are complete, navigate to the Panels tab to add one of the following panels to the Applicant screen, and configure the panel attributes:

  Panel	Description
  Additional Applicant	Provides the ability to capture the demographics for an additional applicant during the virtual application process, such as name, address, phone, and income information. The Account Product Roles field can be added to the panel within the Fields tab to enable the ability to assign the additional applicant(s) a role for each account product.  Account Product Roles Field Configuration When adding the Account Product Roles field to an Additional Applicant panel, it is recommended that the following configurations are made to ensure that the drop-down fields display properly in Virtual Capture, and applicants have a clear understanding of how to complete the field(s) in the screen: Configure the Column Span as "2" to ensure that each drop-down field spans the width of the page in Virtual Capture when there is more than one account product on the application. Add a Line and Spacer Text before the Account Product Roles field to populate instructions for the field, such as "Define the role of the additional applicant on the account product(s)."
  Additional Applicant Declarations	Displays declaration questions for the additional applicant, and enables applicants to answer the questions during the virtual application process.

• When all panel configurations have been made, click  to continue defining the Applicant screen attributes. 
• Once the Applicant screen is saved, it can be assigned as the Edit screen for the Additional Applicants panel.

Configuring the Additional Applicants Panel

To configure the Additional Applicants panel:

• Create a new or edit an existing Application screen.
• Navigate to the Panels tab, and click  within the Edit Screen window.
• From the Select Panel window, select Additional Applicants, and click .
• Within the Edit Panel window, define the General attributes.
• Once all General attributes are complete, select the Edit Screens tab.
• In Edit Screens tab, click within the Screen column, and select the Applicant screen created to capture data for the additional applicant.
• Once the Edit screen is assigned, click  within the Edit Panel window to continue defining the Application screen attributes. 
• When all screen attributes are defined, click  to retain the screen settings.

Once saved, the screen including the Additional Applicants panel must be assigned to a Virtual Capture Workflow Model. The workflow model must then be assigned to a loan application type within the General tab of the Virtual Capture Products page.

The Additional Applicants Panel in Virtual Capture

The Additional Applicants panel displays a card of information for each additional applicant on a Virtual Capture application.

When the Additional Applicants panel first renders in Virtual Capture, only a single card displays in the panel to provide the ability to add an additional applicant to the application.

As additional applicants are added, the panel updates to display a separate card for each additional applicant.

Each card includes the following information for the additional applicant:

• First, Middle, and Last Name
• Role on the Application
• Current Address
• First two phone numbers added to the application, in the following format: <Phone Type>: <Phone Number>

In addition to displaying additional applicant demographics, this panel provides the ability to perform the following actions:

Add Additional Applicant 

Edit Additional Applicant

Delete Additional Applicant
